One of the main ways that we believe you can get closer to God and feel purposeful in being yourself is to volunteer on one of the many teams that come together to reach people in our community. From teenagers to infants, pushing buttons to mowing grass, your gifts can be used in The Carpenter’s.

Discipleship happens through serving - getting your hands dirty! As we change people’s lives together, you’ll see more of yourself than you ever have before. Just browse the list below and email or call the contact person. We’ll be in touch within the week!


1st Impressions Team
Be the first face people see at The Carpenter’s! This team serves on a monthly basis as Greeters by the front doors welcoming people, Ushers serving by the auditorium doors helping people acclimate to the service (seating, getting bulletins, etc.), and the Welcome Center facilitating signups and information. No experience necessary! We’ll train you!
If you love to talk to people this is the opportunity for you.

Kidzone
Nursery
Hang out with the babies! These people give parents a distraction-free church experience on a month-on, month-off basis by taking care of our youngest church goers in every capacity (from laughs and giggles to diapers). No experience necessary! We’ll train you! If you love to care the littlest ones, this is for you!

Preschool
Get your feet wet teaching! These people give parents a distraction-free church experience on a month-on, month-off basis as they teach the Bible to children ages 3-5. No experience necessary! We’ll train you! There’s no prep work needed, just a gentle and caring heart. If you like teaching the basics to children ready to learn, this is for you!

Elementary
This is a serving role packed with high energy and fun! These people give parents a distraction-free church experience using a large-group, small-group format featuring music, videos, sound equipment, and small group interaction on a rotating schedule. No experience necessary! We’ll train you! If you’re ready to facilitate that environment as a teacher, a helper or a small group leader, jump in now! If you’re passionate about teaching the Bible and/or leading a small group discussion among K-5th graders, this is for you!

Social Team
This is for people who love to throw parties! These people organize, set up, prepare food, and put together events that bring us together as a body as well as the Sunday morning services. If you’re handy with a spatula or a coffee maker, this is for you!

Tech Team
This is for people who love loud music, knobs, buttons and wires! Serve on a weekly capacity during Thursday night rehearsals and Sunday Mornings during the services. You’ll run the sound board, lighting board, as well as the projection equipment. No experience necessary! We’ll train you! If you love to participate in a behind the scenes role that makes everything go off with a bang, this is for you!

Worship Team
If music is your passion, this is your serving role! If you can play an instrument, like guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keyboards or something even more creative, we want you to play with us! And if you can sing your way past American Idol judges (just kidding – none of us could do that) we want you to use your gift on stage. Practice is Thursday nights for Sunday mornings and other events available along the way. If music runs in your blood, this is for you!

Ignite Students
Remember the awkwardness of being in middle school & high school? Don’t let that go to waste. Serving on Tuesday nights with Ignite Students affords you the opportunity to share your life lessons with middle school & high school students. Participate in the worship team, tech team, small groups, & special events! If you miss being a kid & wish you could live those years over again with Biblical wisdom, this is for you!

Cleaning Team
Let’s face it some of us are naturally dirty & some of us naturally sparkle with lemony freshness. Serve on our cleaning team and you’ll never be short of things to polish! You’ll have the chance to vacuum, wipe down glass, sweep, and more! If Mr. Clean is your middle name, this is for you!
