What we believe
One God We believe that there is only one true God and that he is concerned with the community of His kingdom. The people that He invested eternity in designing are the His instruments for telling those who do not know about Him the greatest story - A perfect God coming after a imperfect and inadequate man.
Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ is God's eternal Son, and has precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections as God the Father and His Spirit. We believe that He was born supernaturally of a virgin. But most of all, He is the way to God the Father - the atonement that all man needs to reconnect a broken relationship. Through His death and resurrection the price that we owed to God was paid and the gift of that reconnection is free and based of faith in Christ and nothing that we could do. We also believe that salvation results in desire for righteous living, and proper social concern according to God’s standards.
The Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit, His personality, and His work in regeneration and preservation of the Christ-follower. His purpose is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and implement Christ's work of redeeming the lost and empowering the believer for godly living and service.
The Trinity We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; equal and harmonious in God’s existence.
Salvation We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. That sovereign grace of God was purchased by Christ on the cross, and is received by man through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual.
The Word Of God We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the life-giving and guiding inspired Word of God and that they are inerrant in the original writings and relevant for today's life.
The Church We believe that the Church is a spiritual body of which Christ is the head. We believe that the true Church is composed of all people who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have received the Holy Spirit. We also believe that Christ-followers should obey two main actions commanded and exemplified by Christ for the church: baptism by immersion and regular observance of communion.
